Who am I?

I deeply value pursuing my curiosities and discovering myself.

I don't think any twenty-something year old knows who they are yet, which is why you'll often find me experimenting with new activities all the time. Whether it's tattooing, painting, repeatedly trying to build an electric skateboard, playing Cyberpunk 2077 for the millionth time, or perfecting my choux pastry, it's all part of my journey to discover who Abby Chan really is.

For now, my sub-journey will be to try applying my abilities as a designer/product manager.

From my time at eSSENTIAL Accessibility, I've learned so much about accessibility in design and development and how much we can neglect it. As much as I'm sure many would like, accessibility is much more than simply adding alternative text to images or colour contrast.

I want to spread my knowledge and encourage creatives to consider accessibility practices when they are designing. My goal is to improve the accessibility of the internet, one small design at a time.
